Tim Baimbridge is a close protection, surveillance, intelligence and security specialist with over 30 years’ experience gained whilst operating in high-risk locations across the world.
As a senior manager within Scotland Yard’s Special Branch (SB) and Royalty and Specialist Protection Command (RaSP), he planned and personally delivered security operations across six continents.
Subsequently, as a Risk and Security Adviser in the humanitarian sector, Tim re-wrote the way risk is managed to ensure that broad spectrum risks are identified and considered against operational necessity to produce a more informed level of risk tolerance.
Tim has a proven track record of identifying new and existing risk vulnerabilities, reviewing current arrangements and providing expert advice at senior level on all related fields including physical security, contingency planning, delegation security, crisis management, and business continuity.
He’s also skilled and experienced in assessing and restructuring operational units to meet specific risks and financial budgets.
As a qualified trainer in the Adult Learning Sector, and former head of training for RaSP, Tim has designed and delivered a wide range of bespoke courses for humanitarians and security operators as well as leadership and crisis management courses for managers of small teams and larger organisations.
Tim holds an MA (with Merit) in Security, Terrorism and Insurgency, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Risk and Security management.
He’s a Member of the Security Institute (MSyI), an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), has had his academic work published, and received multiple commendations during his police service.
